Literature Text
I’m staring into your beautiful eyes,
As we sit away from the world,
What people say about us is only lies,
There’s nothing wrong with me and you.
Gently I press my lips up to yours,
Knowing we’ll never be treated the same,
But I won’t hide behind locked doors,
My love for you is completely pure.
I know you’re a girl, and I am too,
But if you were a boy it wouldn’t be better,
You know it’s true that I’m in love with you,
But we still aren’t treated like that’s so.
Hold me close and hold me tight,
We can’t marry or be treated fairly,
But please, let’s never give up the fight,
This moment is perfect and so wonderful.
But one day the world will see us for who we are,
And know that there’s nothing strange,
They’ll grant us marriage everywhere, near and far,
We’ll one day be considered the same.
Though as I wrap my arms around you,
I know we’re pure and more in love,
Than any other two ‘straight’ fools,
That’s all that matters between us.

Gay Pride
Go ahead and look away
As you vomit on the graves of
Those lovers who died young,
Others tears will wash their names
Clean of your bile and disrespect
…I would slap you if I was from
Your side of the tracks,
With every second of impending doom
Scream at you to put on your 3D glasses
And check out the view
And you're pushing me up against
A chain link fence
And asking me what's my problem
While I wonder how I can be proud of something
That gets me nothing but black eyes
And broken hearts.

I'm Gay
I'm me, plain and simple. I'm proud of what I am.
You could call me gay, lesbian, bisexual. Even pansexual, because in the end gender doesn't really matter does it? It's love that matters. What's inside that counts the most. Every so often people come up to me, and question my sexuality, they ask "Are you gay?" I say yes. Because I am gay. But I don't believe in gender, but having to explain that every day, just gets boring. So I just say I'm gay.
It's simple, I like boys AND girls, big deal. It's life, it's perfectly normal. I have feelings for girls and sometimes, boys as well. It's my choice in this thin

Homophobia Is Gay
This one goes out to every boy bullied after school
Because he kissed his boyfriend in public
This one goes out to every girl that their father won`t look at
Because he caught her holding hands in the mall with her girlfriend
This is for every father who isn`t allowed to see his child
Because he`s married to another man, and his child`s mother is homophobic
This one is for every mother whose child is in a foster home
Because she is married to another woman
To every boy who is afraid to use the public bathroom
Because he might get security dragging him out
To every girl who is afraid to show her face in class
Because the cool girls

I feel strongly for gay rights, and though I really don't have the talent to write it out well, this is my poem hoping that one day gays/bisexuals will be treated the same as anyone else.
